Correctional Training Commission

The Correctional Training Commission (CTC) was established in 1971 by the Maryland Legislature. Its membership establishes minimum standards of training and selection for correctional officers in Maryland. CTC membership has been updated as a result of SB402 (effective June 1, 2024) expanding to include more members and representatives from across the State of Maryland. Meetings are held on a quarterly basis or as needed. Contact ctc.dpscs@maryland.gov for more information.

Special Note Regarding Revocation Hearings:   The Correctional Training Commission will be holding Revocation Hearings on the below dates. All hearings will begin at 9:00am and take place at the Public Safety Education and Training Center located at 6852 4th Street, Sykesville, MD 21784. The hearings will be held in closed session.
